Kulgam Police Attaches Property of Drug Peddler in Qazigund
In a notable action against drug-related activities, the Kulgam Police have attached the property of a drug peddler in the Nussu Badragund area of Qazigund, South Kashmir. The seized property, a double-storied residential house, belongs to Imran Ahmad Ganie, currently lodged in Kot Balwal Central Jail, Jammu, under the PIT NDPS Act.
This enforcement, carried out under Section 68-F(1) of the NDPS Act of 1985 and connected to FIR no. 34/2024, reflects the police’s determined efforts to combat drug trafficking. The property was identified as illegally acquired during the investigation, signaling law enforcement’s commitment to targeting assets linked to drug crimes. Police reiterated that those found involved in drug peddling would face strict legal consequences, with the ultimate goal of fostering a drug-free society.
