We Strongly Condemn the Assault

Srinagar: January 21: Aam Aadmi party’s Provincial President *Dr Ghulam Mustafa Khan* (DDC member) strongly condemned the physical assault on one of his party’s Youth leaders Mr. *Jibran Dar* at Ganderbal area of Central Kashmir. Mr. Khan stated that we are committed to stand by our people in raising their public issues on all fronts. Khan also emphasized his party’s zero tolerance for such behavior of some arrogant politicians. The culprit involved in such a crime of assault should be booked immediately. The incident highlights the challenges faced by common people across the U.T. such incidents are at alarming challenge for law and order. In a statement issued today, Mr. Khan stated that “We strongly condemned the verbal and physical abuse on our youth leader Mr Jibran Dar by DDC member Ganderbal Md. Ashraf. We have zero tolerance for such kind of unacceptable behavior and will extend full cooperation to the investigation agencies. We request Sr. S P Ganderbal Mr. Nikhil Borkar, S.H.O thana concerned for strict legal action including lodging of FIR u/s 307 IPC against the culprit involved in this heinous crime. If the law enforcing agencies fail to take legal action against the culprit, AAP volunteers will come out on the streets in solidarity with our youth leader Mr Jibran Dar.”
