Two Soldiers Injured as Army Vehicle Overturns in Ganderbal
November 27, Srinagar – Two soldiers sustained minor injuries in a road accident in the Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, officials reported.
The accident occurred along the National Highway at the Khranihama Lar bypass when an Army vehicle, part of a convoy, lost control and overturned.
Local officials confirmed that the injured soldiers received immediate medical attention and are reported to be in stable condition. “Two soldiers suffered minor injuries in the accident,” an official stated.
Authorities have initiated an inquiry into the cause of the incident, although initial reports suggest that slippery road conditions may have contributed to the mishap.
The accident briefly disrupted traffic along the bypass, but swift action by the Army and local police ensured the resumption of normal traffic flow.
Such incidents highlight the challenges faced by security forces operating in the region, particularly in areas with challenging terrain and unpredictable weather conditions.
