National Conference MLA Detained at Srinagar Airport After Ammunition Found in Baggage

Srinagar, Oct 27: Bashir Ahmad Veeri, the Member Legislative Assembly from the Bijbehara constituency and a leader of the National Conference, was detained at Srinagar Airport after security personnel reportedly discovered two rounds of ammunition in his baggage. Veeri, who was en route to Jammu, is currently being held at the Humhama Police Station for questioning. Further details are awaited as authorities investigate the incident.
