IG BSF Kashmir Assures Strong Measures to Prevent Infiltration Ahead of Winter
Srinagar, 26 Oct – Inspector General (IG) Border Security Force (BSF) Kashmir Frontier, Ashok Yadav, has assured that infiltration bids along the Line of Control (LoC) will be thwarted, especially as winter and inclement weather approach. His statement followed the passing-out parade of 629 BSF recruits in Srinagar, where Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended best wishes to the new recruits.
IG Yadav highlighted the robust security grid, reinforced through Army coordination, to counter any infiltration attempts. He expressed confidence in the newly trained recruits’ skills, thanking LG Sinha for supporting and motivating the inductees as they embark on their duty to protect the nation.
