“Nation Bows in Respect: Solemn Tribute Paid to Martyr Rifleman Kaiser Ahmad Shah in Anantnag”
A heartfelt tribute was paid to Rifleman Kaiser Ahmad Shah of the 03 JAKLI/18 RR, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The solemn wreath-laying ceremony held at Eidgah Wangam Shangus in Anantnag brought together around 800 individuals, including local dignitaries and community members, to honor his memory and service.
MLA Shangus Shri Reyaz Ahmad Khan, the Commanding Officer of the 19 RR, and I/C SSP Anantnag Shri Furqan Qadir-JKPS participated in the ceremony, reflecting the respect and admiration held for the brave soldier. Rifleman Shah sustained injuries while on duty in Botapathri, Gulmarg, and later succumbed to them. The community’s peaceful gathering highlighted the profound gratitude for his selfless service, honoring him as a hero who laid down his life for the nation.
