The killing of a doctor in a terror attack at Gagangeer, in the Ganderbal district, has plunged a village in Budgam into deep mourning. The attack claimed the lives of six other innocent people, sending shockwaves of grief and fear throughout the valley.
The doctor, a father of three, was widely respected for his dedication to his profession and his devoutness. His sudden death has left the entire village of Budgam in sorrow. The attack, which occurred late at night, has left tears in every eye and fear in every heart in the village.
“We are all suffering from this crisis. The doctor who was with us yesterday is no longer here,” a local elder said with a heavy heart. Known for his commitment to his work and faith, the doctor was seen as a man of honor in the community. “I will always remember Dr. Sahib for his tireless efforts. He was still young, but he had already dedicated his life to service,” said another mourner.
The doctor had recently celebrated his daughter’s wedding, adding further heartbreak to this tragedy.
As the village struggles to cope with the shock, the community has expressed strong condemnation of the attackers. “This is not just a shock for our family but for the entire nation, as other innocent lives were also lost in this attack,” a resident remarked.
“He was a noble and joyous man, but fate had other plans,” they added.
Political leaders have also condemned the violence, calling for justice. Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, a senior political figure in Budgam, stated, “Everyone is united in grief and anger. Those responsible for this cowardly act must face justice.”
The village of Budgam remains in mourning as they prepare to lay their beloved doctor to rest, along with the other victims of this horrific attack.
