NIA Deputy SP,Arrested By CBI For Taking Rs 20 Lakh Bribe

CBI has apprehended the accused officer, Deputy SP Ajay Pratap Singh and his two agents.

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in coordination with National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested NIA Patna Branch DSP and his two agents for taking bribe from a suspect in a Patna Branch Case.

CBI and NIA laid a trap on a complaint of corrupt activities by an investigation officer of the NIA.

NIA in its Press Release informed that CBI had received an input that Rocky Yadav, owner of Ramaiya Construction, was alleging corrupt activities of NIA Patna Branch IO, during the course of NIA’s investigation against him.

And after the verification of inputs, CBI took action in coordination with the NIA

CBI has apprehended the accused officer, Deputy SP Ajay Pratap Singh and his two agents while accepting an illegal gratification of Rs 20 lakhs from the complainant.

It is informed that further investigation is continued.PTI
