Dr Showkat Ahmad Lone in Standford University’s Global Top 2% List
Srinagar 20 Sep: After the name of Dr Showkat Ahmad Lone from Wadwan Budgam was featured in Stanford University’s list of the top 2% of scientists worldwide, the locals in his native village are over the moon.
Dr. Showkat Ahmad Lone is currently working as an Associate Professor-cum-Scientist in the basic science department at the Saudi Electronic University (SEU) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The feat achieved by Dr. Lone highlights his exceptional contributions to Statistics and Reliability Engineering, specifically in Accelerated Life Testing Models.
Dr. Lone has completed his MSc in Statistics from the University of Kashmir in 2013 and earned a doctorate in Reliability Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University (India) in 2017.
His research areas include Statistics and Reliability Engineering. In 2016, he published his first research article, and since then, he has published more than 170 research articles in reputed international journals.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, has registered one de-sign patient (358028-001) under his name.
