One Passenger Dead, Another Critical After Falling Off Roof of Bus in Kupwara
One passenger died while another suffered critical injuries after falling off the roof of a private bus in the Ghaziabad area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district this morning.Reports said that due to the overload, various passengers, mostly laborers, had occupied the roof of the bus.While deboarding from the bus near Palapora, two passengers slipped and fell off, receiving critical injuries.
The duo, identified as Suhail Ahmad Teli (25), son of Ghulam Ahmad Teli of Mandigam, and Ubaid Bashir Bhat (23), son of Bashir Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Badrah Payeen, were shifted to GMC Baramulla for treatment. However, Suhail Ahmad Teli succumbed to his injuries.
